Initial Teacher Education students' conceptualisation of inclusive education

Policy and legislative frameworks in South Africa mandate inclusive education that, given the contextual realities of classrooms, requires teachers to be responsive diversity. There is, however, an identified gap between policy ideals enactment that is exacerbated by a lack conceptual clarity regarding nature practice still viewed many as being limited considerations special needs rather than broader diversity well.
